Looks cool! Hey those track teeth are going to be on the inside of the road wheels right? not on the outside like in your picture right?

Hi Jnewboy, no on this model the running wheels sit in between the track teeth.

It does seem a bit odd that the track horns are sitting outside of the road wheels, did Chris design it this way, or would turning the tracks around put the teeth inside out of sight?

It's pretty hard to know how the real thing would look since it only ever existed in some basic drawings, although it looks like it would work out the way it is on the model.

All the model ones I've seen have the tracks in this config.

The illustration on page one of this thread does not have the guide horns sitting outside of the outermost road wheels. Different tracks?

Now we have seen both however if we look at it carefully we can see that the wheel system is very similar to the final Panther with steel wheels, only it has been shortened and reversed. If this was the idea (as many German ideas were of the time) to save in manufacturing cost and increase production speed by using designs that already existed and being produced then we have to assume the track teeth would follow suit and be on the inside like the Panthers.

I believe he said he opted to run the wider King Tiger tracks so that could be the difference between the 2. Am I correct that the King Tigers tracks were wider then the Panthers? If so then this must be the reason for the difference. Either way I think you're doing a hell of a great job on the E25.

No one knows what it would really look like or how it would work because the E25, like the E10, E50 and E75 were just some basic drawings and a concept on paper. It doesn't even have blue prints.
