It looks awesome - it's not an easy tank to make either.

I have to say i own two of Franks Builds and Su100 and a Hi speed tractor both of them i love.
This build and others by Frank have been great to watch progress along.
I may not comment but i do follow the builds.
This build has been a good one the Tank has lots of hard angles to achive and he has got them in my eyes.
There has been way too much criticism in this build and too much of that can put a modeller off .

You are soooooooooooo lucky.. Tank Man...I wish I had the opportunity as well as the honor of owning one of Frank's creations
It's kind of sad ...that some don't understand scratchbuilding...it is really a lost art....in today's world especially RC ...there is hardly any modelling to do,,,Airplanes are pre fab... so are helicopters cars and boats

Fynsdad's creations are one of a kind no matter what anyone says.... the most amazing part about even watching one of his builds ..is how he manages to do the job with hardly any extra expense.... To me he is an example of a true builder.. friend... and mentor

With respect I don't think you know what your talking about. Most model boats are very much supply the basic material and you have to get on with it.

Well Tom... that well might be...because I don't do boats anymore...but to the best of my knowledge ...a lot of the hulls decks bulkheads are all pre made from plastic now.... I come from the days where a kit boat was all plywood ... where you built the skeleton.... soaked and heated the plywood so you could bend it to fit that frame... then build in all the bulkheads...motor mounts... servo mounts... rudder hook ups and pivots ... amongst other details that you add on later

Not to mention making sure the Hull was watertight

So to me...the plastic boats of today.. are pre fabs .... hardly any measuring or fitting to do ..what's ironic is ... the kits back then cost about the same...but had a much higher level of skill required to build one

. This is what I mean about some don't understand what was and what is .... back then there were no electric boats ...most were powered by gas engines... so you also had to consider the balance of the thing just as you would an airplane...or your boat would dive into the water instead of riding above it.... I have to admit though ...back then it was very rare to see a submarine

So maybe I don't know what I'm talking about... but then again...maybe I do

Yup I remember those billpe...then "U-control" where you stood in the center and let the plane fly around you as you wire lined the thing .049 and .015 engined models where a blast ...used to design and build our own combat planes back then too
When it got to RC... that was a whole new can of worms...nothing like the electric foam models they have today
