Tankers,
I lost my little greyhound grrl, Wish, last night from some kind of sudden heart attack. She was normal then gone in under two hours. Today doesn't make any sense to me and as Fynsdad has wisely noted, "It's just a plastic tank" Today of all days, that is true. I'll see about photos in a bit, Alpha. Nice patterning and color, CH.
regards,
Painless

Painless everyone who decides to let one of Gods creatures into our lives knows that all things being equal we will outlive them, and when it happens it does not help at all. You know you are not alone and of course it is trite to say so, but you will always have great memories, I am so sorry for your loss, God bless old friend. shaun

Thank you all.
'Normal' is impossible for me to make work today. I appreciate the kindnesses show here and will enjoy my Hobby again one day. Right now, it is a crutch to see me through an awful day and crutches are useful tools.
Thank you all again,
Painless Wolf

I'm sorry for your loss as well, Painless. We had a Whippet for many years that looked a lot like yours (only smaller, of course). He was very insecure, and only seemed at ease if you were reassuring him, or he was hidden under a blanket. Wherever you were; he always seemed to be right there behind you - my Daughter named him "Tailgate" because of that. He passed away very suddenly as well, and it was very difficult for all of us to get used to him not being underfoot. We have great memories, and enough time has passed that we can smile when thinking about him. I guess it'll always hurt, though; and I feel for your pain. -Mike

Gentlemen,
It has been a day now and I dread the length of time that lies ahead. Mike, Thank you. I am sorry for your loss. It never goes away completely and as you said, only Time will allow a smile to be had when remembering my beautiful and happy girl. She loved everybody and everybody lucky enough to meet her loved her as well. Thank God for you guys and as odd as it sounds, thank God for tanks without which I would not have your kindnesses today and the only distractions from my grief. Work certainly was of no use.
warm regards,
Painless

The final piece of the puzzle arrived in the mail today. 'KV-2 Soviet Heavy Breakthrough Tank of WWII' Thank you, Sassgrunt, you have an amazing Library of tank literature. ;o) I took a couple of pictures of all the paint schemes sitting together that I had assembled and\or painted. The 1/35 Protective Green version remains to be weathered but it can wait for another and better time.

Painless
