Looking foreward to seeing finished tank as I remember seeing Kelly,s Hero's when it came out. Oddball has been one of my favourite character's of all time & even a kinda role model. Good work. Cheer's. Andy.
ps,Do you want to hear my other dog impersonation lol.

Hi all,
Been busy with one thing or another over the weekend so nothing much happening.
Sat down this evening and made the copula vision panels from clear styrene.

One in...five to go...
Made all six to one template then filed each one to shape as not all the cut outs were the same
Once they were a reasonable fit, I applied plastic weld to the inside ledges, letting it run down into to joints.

I think the scratches and smears that occured during fitting will give it a more used look and will blend in well once all is weathered. Thats my excuse anyway

Hey Alan. I have always enjoyed Kelley's Heroes too, and a lot of that was due to Oddball. I don't now if you've seen that there is a 120mm resin figure of him from Jimmy Flintstone. Here is the link, but there's no picture of it. It's a one-piece figure, and has him standing, carrying a gold bar, (the weight of the bar causes him to be leaning backwards, somewhat. I hate to hack up the figure just to use the head on some other tanker body, but it IS a good likeness of him. -Mike

Thanks mt 1,
Mike, I already have a figure to use, resin cast from "Tanks 'n Trolls"

I will have to cut him about a bit, but I've done it before with his tank commanders.

Awesome. For a tank figure, yours is a lot better than the one I was talking about. I will have to try and get one of those, too. Thank you!

Got my latest package from Nick Aguilar today.
Transmission cover.

Great detail as usual.
Also an exhaust deflector.

Deflector was a solid cast piece, so Ive already hacked out the back

to make the grilles open for the smoker to blow out of. I will cover the back over again with some styrene and insert some piping in to form smoke chambers.

Fitted new styrene back plate and welded in some styrene piping that will extend into the lower hull.

Thanks Fleshy, waiting for parts at the moment .
Gave the metal tracks a going over with Blackenit to varying degrees.
And coated up the new Nick Aguilar parts.
