Sorry Bubbajoexx, its late over here and having a pritty poor night at work. Just reading back through this thread, and what it was originaly stating, i feel Im being a bit of a hippacrete. I feel that we're destinded to disagree, but still value your ideas and suggestions. Im going to leave this thread for a while, until im a little more open minded. Good luck with your designs and ill check up on your progress at a later date. My apologies for my bikering.

I want to jump in here and say I did not think about the graphics and screen printing software or member skills could create the shirts better faster and for less money than we paid out for the Saxondog label. We drafted the design, and they transfered the image and made some changes to clean it up. I like the design from Luke's wife, many HONOR METALS had the same oak leaf design, the tank could be the MK in the foreground with a modern tank in the shadow of the background to show interest in all era's. The evolution of armor and the forum/club logo, with the added graphics from Luke's wife and the ghost tank added. But we should all have the same shirts with maybe one exception, were tankers no matter US,UK,GERMAN,FRENCH,JAPANESE each army had sleeve insignia to identify the div,or unit. Grossdeutschland and all the elite German divisions had a cuff title,we could do something similar that without to much trouble is recognized within the club only what each means, simple and why it was used in the military by all forces. And the US guys could be a right sleeve cuff title,(even short sleeve shirts) just a simple military technique to identify the group your with. I just think we have ranks on line(except me) why not use the same system to create the shirts? The logo can be changed or not but let's not let this DIVIDE us,it should bring us TOGETHER! Blake

Please let's come together on this idea,we should be able to complete this image and find the best way to distribute the image/shirt through out the membership. I know how a simple shirt can bring together people and create a comradeship. Money is not the problem,so what is the problem? let's come together and make this happen. Saxondog

come on guys you are getting a little carried away with this the idea is to creat a cost effective way to produce a shirt that is affordable to members and represents the forum. the cost breakdown is as follows

min order 500 shirts to be affordable
4.00 dollars per shirt
2.00 dollars front logo
3.00 dollars rear logo
thats a 9.00 shirt 4500.00 for the 500 shirts + shipping
now adding areas will cost an extra 2.00 per shirt and you will then be required to buy 1000 exra shirts as 500 min to keep the cost reasonable thats just way to much to spend on shirts and have to pass back onto members as each member would have to pay the exra cost for shirts that are not part of there area

1500 SHIRTS 12,000.00 thats 24.00 per shirt + shipping and 1000 unused shirts
500 SHIRTS 4500.00 thats 9.00 per shirt +shipping

what makes more sense

the shirt must be representative to the forum and IR AD but also cost effective if we had the means to waist money on extras not needed we would be buying more tanks
so lets use some common sense and come up with a good logo simple and responsable cost wise Matts simple logos work for me and are easy to reproduce without getting over enduljant

my spelling is awfull to late at night

I don't particularly like that shirt design as the back is plain and the shirt is white, and yes i realise on the pic and shirt the URL is wrong :/
