that's just bloody awesome, you got to be right proud of yourself mate, just need a pic with you or someone holding it or it pictured next to another 1/16 tank to give it a sense of scale.

Andy, the .30 cal. MG's are mounted where the are supposed to be. One on each side and one in a ball mount in the front cab. They should be in the last set of pictures. I still have to detail everything, ammo boxes, sand, dirt, etc., etc. I am concentrating on getting all of the electronics adjusted and working out the operational bugs before doing that though.
Colin, I will take a picture of it with my LVTP-7 and me along with a ruler for you. I hope I don't break the camera.

Andy, I got the .30 cal. from Welsh Dragon Models there in the UK. Here are some more pictures with my LVTP-7 and a ruler to show size.

Finally got the teething problems sorted out. The grub screws for the Asia-tam 3-1 gearboxes kept coming loose, but put some thread locker on them and they seem to be holding now. It is going to be something I'll have to watch for. It went for a swim in the indoor testing facility, and I ended up having to put some ballast in the rear to get it to float where I wanted it to. It is a bit nose heavy because all of the electronics gear is up front. I would have gone outside to the creek, but it is getting dark and it's raining. Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Yes, they do seem a bit fragile however. They work well in the water inside anyway. I have been busy working on my "Honey Do" list today and have not had a chance to get it outside yet.

Well here it is Sunday AM and still have not had a chance to get to the creek. Last night I did add the front applique armor. I had cut it out earlier, but had not decided if I would put it on or not. I decided that since I have the armored cab I might as well add it also. I am not planning on adding the side sponson armor though. I tried to get some pictures of the lights working, but I think they are hard to see.

Well, I finally got to take it to the creek. My neighbor was kind enough to film it for me on my camera. Ol' Surf & Turf did well on her first outing. Let me know what you think.
