Also to add normally firmware update is easy (just part 3 above) it is just this time new PC software was required for the extra features offered by the firmware.

After I posted I found that uninstall screen but I had already left right clicked the mouse and deleted everything to do with the IBU so when I got to the uninstall screen there was nothing there to uninstall.

Gotta go to work and drive trains so I can aford more tanks. I'll re download it all when I get home.

Deleting and uninstalling are different. Your best doing an uninstall otherwise your computer might run into problems later.

So I deleted/uninstalled ALL the IBU stuff. I then RE-downloaded all the IBU stuff BACK to my laptop, unzipped and opened them up, hooked up my tank, flipped the switch and guess what! That's right STILL no power up sound, the yellow LED is lit constant and the green LED just flashes.

After wasting my entire 4th of July holiday trying to get this thing to work its worse NOW then when I first started! This may very well be a case of too many cooks ruining the soup, but either way I'm finished. I'm no longer going to play with this IBU3 I'm DONE.

Its out of my tank, back in its box and that's where its going to stay cause I'm not gonna screw with it anymore. I have an IBU2 that I'll throw in my Jagdtiger and flip the damn power switch to on and it'll work the first f--king time.

Sure I'll miss the German voices coming from the tank but you know what I won't be missing? This STUPID hook your laptop up, download program, download and unzip updates and uninstall and then re-install then update....man f--k that crap! I got into these R/C tanks to have fun, something I can honestly say I have NOT had with this IBU3! Is it the board? Nope! It's MY DUMB ASS! And ya know what my dumb ass says its had enough.

You want it you can find it in the for sale section and God love ya best of luck!
