Here is the type I use. It is available in wider widths. I use the one inch and trim it down as needed: 3M™ VHB™ Heavy Duty Mounting Tape 4910

I managed to find the DIY store own brand, apparently designed by NASA and used on the toilet seats during the Apollo missions.

Still not sorted the servo, but have pretty much done all of the base colour. I will get a new pair of front sprockets at some point, as one of these is past its best.

Thanks Alwyn, its been quite an easy build so far, though the battle system will take some work to make a neat job of it. I stuck some shells in the stowage while I was waiting for some paint to dry. I also ground off the screws under the turret, although they are countersunk they weren't flush and would have simply gouged the plastic on the upper hull.

Painted the tools, and weathered the suspension a bit. I should really go and get some washes and decals.

Sweet as! Love it, the internal detail sets it off .

At long last I managed to get rid of the loose barrel syndrome, fit the recoil servo and test it, and then install the elevation servo, and get it positioned so that I could hide the whole thing under a cover. I think it all looks a lot neater now, and many thanks to Painless for his tape suggestion.

Nice job on the turret internals.

What did you do flip the elevation servo over to covee it?
3M double sides automotive tape is great stuff isn't it? Glad it's finally catching on like I knew it would.

Have you fit the drive sprocket covers on yours yet? If so how are you holding yours on? I was thinking a couple drops of glue but I don't want to make them impossible to get off but I feel they should be removable.
