that is just awesome, what are your costs up to? trying to work out how to build my 1/4 mk1 male tank. but mine will be rc.

I'm at 94 days labour and almost £2000. but a part of that is in the GRP mould at around £200 and mistakes I've made along the way so if your making it out of alloy which I now think would be better and easier to fix things too. your biggest expense after that is a wheelchair for the motors and joy stick controller which before you think you don't need it, it would be easy to fit a couple of servo's to operate the stick and it would take all the current you would need to power it. This one is at about 270 KGS and even on you simpler design it could still weigh 200KGS you will be diving slower at say 1 mph so it would push a house down with the power, for instance the Tiger will climb steps with ease but it doesn't like grass when turning. I'm now looking for more powerfull 4 pole motors and a 120 amp controller to over come that. my range at the moment on hard surface or gravel is 2 miles but that's as far as its been tested too.
