Yeah I think I have to agree those would be the biggest welds in the history of the world if you don't grind them smooth. I don't think anyone could do actual scale size welds!

Today I received my missing suspension components from Chris so decided to mount them.

Hopefully this weekend I'll get round to finishing the lower hull and wheels, then I can start on the upper hull and the challenges that will have.

Today I got around to fitting my road wheels, idlers, sprockets and tracks.

Really starting to take shape now.

Thanks guys, I'm fitting my electrics out of my sherman this afternoon to test the running gear and make sure they are aligned before final tweaks.

It's nice to see how the lower half of the build looks now the tracks are fitted.

The hull is only a little shorter than the King Tiger but will be longer once the cannon is fitted which is remarkable.
