Well the color is white, but in a military font writing, not gothic, earlier tanks had the model on the mid-side of the tank. Sometimes outlined with black.

Initially it was white outlines, then after the 1st reconstitution and renumbering it was white with red infill.

Sorry! But it's a good source for generic unit information outside of official diaries, which seem hard to come by in English.
