Fair enough...... the reason being, It might be simpler, to have a commen design, that folks can do them selves, or save onto a disc or usb stick, and take it to thier local printers, where ever they are in the world. Also some folks might only want a hat or maybe a fleece jumper. But I agree, we need a common design, that makes us stand out. (but not too flamboyent)

no, and probably not either. Its would be horrible to organise and it would mean that branch would be completely seperate from the UK branches, and plus people int he US and even more spread out than us, no matter how much we consider ourselves wide spread :/

also back to the shirts, id think making RcTankWarfare shirts would be a primarily better idea, as more people would want them i think, i cant see anybody wanting / needing a 1/16 IRAD shirt if they are not a member of it, lol :haha: :haha:

by the way bubba. nice find on the camo shirt, as long as the website your using to make it supports .png image format, it will be better, as the banner is PNG and has a transparent background :)

cheers all,

Matt

had a few thoughts on the T-shirts

how about this for the back of the T-Shirt with a picture of your favourite tank/your own model underneath?

then the branch you are in logo like the second image on the front over the breast area?

could also be transferred to a baseball cap?

hi good idea rob mate :D

the images i had for the rctankwarfare t-shirts before i removed the irad part, and supersized the name and 2 inward faceing chirchurls so it would blow up better on the t-shirts. I'll remoke them when i get these last 4 assignments in tommorow (well i hope, lol).

cheers,

Matt

Well with the greatest respect, im going to gracefully bow out from this one. I simply cant warrent buying something that I can make myself (well my wife's just finished it) Those who have read my build threads will understand this. if any ones interested still, I'll post some pictures of the finished product tomorrow. Mine might not be the same as what you guys end up with, but it will do the job. I wish you all the best with your endevours.

Many kind regards, Luke.

Hi guys,

I have posted about the forum banner competition, and Alsion replied with a link to the logo's and Shirts that Tony made,

and I think that to have his Logo he made for the 1/16 IR AD would be a great centiment to him and his commitment to the club / forum. Also I think that its a more detailed logo than the current one! the current one is good, but when blown up to a larger size it will come out blurry as its made on Paint.

Also, for meets as shows like the Cobbaton, would it be an idea to put tony's logo on a white shirt, and everybody to wear one?

This would make finding each other easier at shows, and so we have a well presented and identified group

Let me know your thoughts,

thanks,

Matt

you need a shirt to represent the military aspect of the club and white is not going to do that needs to be camo or army green and with mininmal printing on it as it can get real expensive when you start going overboard with logos as i said earlier brothers are brothers no need for fancy lables to id each other
