Thanks Colin, The wheels are really looking like the real thing and each one is independently suspended so it acts like it is supposed to. I really appreciate getting them from you. It has made this part of the build so much easier. I have mounted them now, and thrown on a coat of paint. When it dries I'll take some more pictures.

Thanks Guys. It is really starting to look like something now. I just watched "Flags of Our Fathers" for the first time. I really enjoyed seeing the LVT's they used in the movie. I have been thinking about camo., and it is about 50/50 to do it or not. Most LVT 4's were just green, but some were camo.ed.

Fantastic Herman, great to see the wheels on. Im sat looking at mine now ! Been on hold as the weather is great and Im working relief shifts so precious little build time available. Inspiring stuff. I will get on with it. Its just the thought of all those wheels (thanks Colin). Looks like your going to have the first floater Herman. Fingers crossed for the sea trial !

Well, all of the construction is finished and painted. I still have to set the ESC's so it works right and do some weathering and detail work. The .30 cal. MG's came today from Welsh Dragon. I spent most of the afternoon setting them up and painting. I am getting real antsy to get it in the water myself. I will try to get the major things done this week and see if I am able to test it this weekend.

Oh Herman that is fantastic, all we need now is the sea trial report :-). Just one thing, I think the pictures have distorted a little ? they seem a little squashed up length ways ? That might just be my computer screen but it does tend to stretch things out a little normally. That is of course beside the point. Remarkable model mate, I now have some more inspiration to get mine finished. I'd stalled at the wheels but after I finish this run of night shifts I will get on it.
a most appreciative Nick !
