Do you mean to change the 8 pin plug and replace with plastic block connectors to each separate channel on upgraded motherboard??? Which board do I need to keep from original tank . It has sound volume adjuster screw you can adjust under neath has plastic block connector also smoke on off switch with wires with block connectors 2pin that use to plug in the original 6.0 motherboard but don't know if they are needed :headbang: . The other thing is it the PCB board with aerial n Cristals for old handset but I could also be the soundboard. I dunno.

The wires from the turret etc go to the control via the 8 pin wire. However, a couple may be different in the various versions. If you trace the wires from the top deck you can usually see what they're connected to. From there use the wiring diagram Kaczor posted to see what's what. You MAY need to alter the order the wires and that can be done by altering the 8-core wires: ie pin 3 top goes to pin 5 bottom (those numbers are not correct).

It's no worse than wiring an old car, especially given POs alterations over the years to replace the Lucas smoke that's escaped.

The Grantham meet is on 8th January https://www.facebook.com/GranthamLightArmouredDivision depending on who's down someone can probably help. Or failing that Dave & Julie (Forgebear) can help you buy something else! ;)

Thanks for your information. I shall have to look for diagram again . Well I've now fitted metal wheels+drive gear but not idlers as I think I need to tap out the hole. I can't find a tap with same thread in my metric set or imperial so I think it must be BA . The old screws that held plastic ones on are bigger than bearings of new .

More than likely you weren't hacked. A lot of people are creating accounts using other people's information and pics trying to get them to friend this "new" account. It's a form of identity theft.

Really people stoop that low by stealing someone's identity. I keep getting letters from insurance companies telling me I need to pay. It isn't me it's someone doing just that using my name and address . I've reported it to fraud squad . Bas"ARDS .
