I would absolutely be interested in a kit I am so impressed with the realism

wow that is amazing work, it is so nice to see something ww2 British in armour other than the shermans we used as not much available in the rc tanks market, in ready to run form,it is fantastic to see scratch builds like this one. our club had a display at a model engineering exhibition and a ww2 veteran former english armoured tanker was very upset at that mostly what we had was , ie German , sherman etc but no actual British made armour. even though i explained very little was available commercially and what you did see was scratch built. Despite this he left quite emotional. But anyway i detract, i look forward to seeing finished tank it is superb sir.

I would recommend it With every kit I design I get more experience, so the Matilda kit is high end quality for sure … you´ll recognize it at least when you check the assembly manual
If there are more than a few customers, Chris and me will be lucky. Some kits never been bought either (i.e. Valentine) .

Stuart, I´m with you – there are too less British tanks in 1/16 available. So Chris, me and some other guys are working to improve this situation.?
My first overall scratch built tank was the Valentine – it´s such a particular tank, with it´s octagonal section and the special running gear! Next was the Centurion, a famous Cold War tank not only in Europe and now the Matilda. For my it´s cryptically why British tanks are so unattended!

But anyway let´s got on with the report.
A feature of this kit will be the external fuel tank which was later used at the Pacific theatre.

Just had a look at the web site. The Valentine is listed as no 5 in British Vehicles. However, there is no link attached. Unable therefore to see what it looks like or how much it costs. Perhaps it the link were live, you would sell one.

Matilda is my favourite tank of all time, and if I had a bigger budget and more time on my hands I would certainly buy one.
Mabey after I finish my tiger..........
Love your work, top job.

Really great to see a Matilda being made from scratch. Love to get one of those in the future. Would prefer the RC version moved faster than scale though!

It’s planned to create the original tracks too. Few samples are made, but it’s way too far to tell…
