Were endless incorrect details from HL corrected on Imex/Taigen? This one looks good to me however the description does not mention metal tracks and I'm not sure how it imitates the shot flash. Sadly I did not find one with my favorite green camo or smoke launchers not sure if it's appropriate for this early version.
The Taigan upper hull and how it joins to the lower are still entirely a HL copy. The suspension system and part of the aluminium insert is a Tamiya copy. Not sure what the basic model uses but they do early and late wheel sets, both HL copies and their own version in metal. Look nice but insanely heavy along with the tracks. It's really something that needs lipos. Because of the HL hull mechanism it will never be totally rigid and you'll always have gaps under the sponsons. They're not inherently bad models by any means however when you look at the cost of a top end Taigan, it will cost you more than a Tamiya Tiger from Japan which includes the Futaba RX/TX which the US/EU editions don't come with. This is why if you're going to splash some serious monies, you have many more options but also pit falls. I have HL, Taigan and Tamiya Tigers and if you're OK with building (it is very easy!) and painting and will continue the hobby then get the Tamiya but for RTR Taigan is your best bet all round.

Metal tracks are optional and there are a whole range of them available. I personally prefer Impact ones but the cheap HL ones aren't too bad but they aren't closed pin. Shot flash is done by an LED in Taigan tanks I think. In Tamiya they have a high voltage flash unit, similar to a cameras flash. If you need a full description and help with the range, on RCuniverse's tank section, there is a guy called Imex eric. He works at Imex and will answer any of your questions and help you out getting the tank you want or as near too it.

As for green Tigers, I don't think any company does that. They generally came out of the factory: Dark Grey>Tropical (very few - the picture David posted)>Yellow. They were then often repainted by crews in accordance with battalion schemes keeping the grey or yellow base with green and/or brown in addition. We can easily find which Tiger battalions or Tigers were attached to Divisions in Ukraine and know how they were painted and what numbering system was used for them if you need that.

Thanks again! It seems to be pretty much clear.
So there was on original Tamiya model and then the whole bunch of China-made clones popped up and some of them are even clones of clones :-)

LOL....I think you've got it lol....Good Luck making your choice

By the way toshik....judging by your responses ...I think you have written off Heng Long...but the seller that sold me my M1A2 ABRAMs also has the Premium/Pro version Tiger 1...has all the metal goodies.. gearbox ..road wheels...sprockets and tracks + the 2.4 rig...and it's about 30 dollars less than the Plastic Taigen....though you might still have to do some work on the Heng Long upper Hull...just because of all the metal workings...it is probably a better investment than the Plastic Taigen as you would have to add the cost of the wheels tracks and sprockets on to it ;)

Again...Good luck making your choice

Yes HL is off my list alone with full-metal Mato. Tamiya sounds tempting but top $$$, Taigen is much cheaper. IR gun is my choice.

Do you have more pictures of it? Any mandatory mods I should be aware of? I believe it has alloy not steel+brass gears in the gearbox.

Thanks! Is it 12041 with tuning? Does the gearbox need any solid lubricant in it?
