1/72 Scale Comparison between the Unimax KV-2A, Italeri Sherman M4A1 and Italeri Opel Blitz. Even at this small scale, the size disparity created by the KV-2 is plainly apparent. ;o)

Hello Blimp ..Painless... yes it does look like that famous Tank... pretty amazing how it got hit... without acquiring any mortal damage... look at it ... replace a few links of tracks.. and she's off...the Kv2...not a favorite of many a tank fan... cannot deny how strong it was built

Nice pics! And i always thought that the KV2 sporting the long barrel 90 mm gun was a myth from WoT (i.e. paper panzer with no actual prototypes built). Guess I was wrong again...

Good Morning, Sir,
W.O.T. was close. The Soviets were testing the 122mm version of their anti-tank gun. It eventually went on the IS series as the KV chassis was deemed 'obsolete'. (Kliment Voroshilov had fallen out of favor.)
How goes the Panther G, Jeff? Do you have it finished to your satisfaction and up and running? I am still intending to put your tank forward for consideration for the Masterclass Thread.

Hello Jeff... Yeah that thing is really something.. check the people in the background... two of them are holding their ears... after that check the suspension ... and how the firing of the gun actually rocks the tank backwards...talk about something being deadly.. can't imagine what would have happened if that thing went into production

It looked meaner in the Kv configuration IMO ...no matters that the shell didn't deflect off the flat panels ...I'm surprised the Soviets just didn't supply the crews with earplugs for the KA CHANG echoing withing the hull
