I think the dry brushing worked very well.

I think the dry brushing and powers have brought the tank togearther very nicely. You have one sweet looking tank there

Right, and with that Lass, you win the bet. I'll pick you up the Sherman this week.
To explain to the folks: Yuka said that she could not manage something like this, at all.
I said she could do it - and was willing to put my money where my mouth was. Therefore, I wagered her a Tamiya Sherman against a Yorkshire Pudding (you'd be addicted too if you were a Sheffield lad away from home for years).
I don't know why you won't take Yosuke's, Ken's, Keiko's or my word for these things. You cannot argue with these lads though.
Edit: I also cannot fathom why I have to post domestic drama here just to get yourself to take yourself seriously!

Looking awsome.

Re: The Missus Takes a Hand
Indeed, who is to say? In this case the scheme, and the grubbiness comes from a photo which Yuka's old man saw in the Osaka Anthropology museum of an F1in what was described as a late Fall/Early Winter Hunting pattern. It did not give much clue as to the colours - being B/W - but our own resident Eastern Front guru just said, "could be anything as, by 44, formal cammo patterning had largely broken down".
This is why I love late war German armour. One has standard patterns of course, but just go digging through the archive images and you never know what you will encounter.

It's a double deal then. You start the Jagd, and I start the Sherman. Looks like Fatty owes us both a pint.
