Hi Just My idea I was just going to build a Panther II ,with two tops the one they have in the Paton museum and one with a Ftype turret. The Germans were just starting the idea mass produce one thing like the Americans and Russians Sherman ,T34.But they like big tanks so they started by using the wheels for the Tiger on the Panther, they were going for main types the E series(http://www.achtungpanzer.com/entwicklun ... series.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) ,using the same parts for each model ,see post here http://henk.fox3000.com/panther.htm,it" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; started me looking for more info ,then Chris3 started to produce the upper for (I call it Jagdpanther II)but most people call it a Zerstorer. So why not do what may have happened fit a New version of the Jagdpanther on the new Panther II chassis, its just what may have happend not actually happend, the Panther II was made,it was going to have a F type turret ,this is commonly accepted(only one survives this has a G type turret Paton museum)see photos of other peoples idea of a Zerstorer.

There all best guess except the last photo and the Panther II with G type turret

Thanks Pete. I know there is little info on this so I was hoping you had some "special" insight. The Mantlet is also a point of conjecture I guess. I am going to try the Jagdtiger mantlet with mine. Love what your doing. Perhaps I will post mine as I get started. have Cris Ludwig's upper hull kit, Just waiting for an assortment of parts now.
