Thanks and neither can I.......One day it will be. It was done as a German army version until I put it in my friends loft for 23 years. perhaps after my wedding this year I'll get some time spare.

Blimey....I got some paint on the lower half today. It will look like my avatar soon.
Yesterday was good too, I finally married the turret to the top of the hull.
Something else that was a surprise, A battery pack of 4 AA batteries fits nicely under the stowage hatch at the back of the turret. saves any hassle of removing the turret to replace dud batteries. Incase you don't know, my turret is not connected to the hull by wires (I have two RXs).

Just thought I'd upload a pic to prove that work is underway again. It was a bugger getting all that rubber back in place without scratching the new spray job. If your wandering about the colour of the tracks (realistic colour) it's 34 years of corrosion, but they work a treat.

Ok heres proof that I have been slinging paint on. No it's not complete yet, but you get a good idea of what I'm doing. Hopefully this weekend will be dry and I can get it mostly finished. I firstly sprayed parts of it in a metallic (silver/black/hint of red) mix and then apply liquid mask in the places I wanted it to be scruffy. Then I sprayed the green base colour and applied some more liquid mask. then came the tricky part of scribbling on it in pencil and then spraying on the brown and black in the designated places.
It's great how you just get in the zone when spraying..... No I'm not sniffing the thinners.
And yes those aerials are connected to the reciever...

Still along way to go though..... 8|

Well It's nice that the subject matter is appealing, even to you guys that like the older stuff. If you ever want any reference ideas etc. let me know. I've been collecting images and info on this subject for far too long now. 8| 8|
