Hi folks,
News about the flatcar. As I want to bring it to the
next spanish meeting, I am working against the clock to finish it.
I applied the main color:

I already ordered a decals set on ebay:

I'll also need a railway track to display, so I'm building a simple one using 3d printing. Obviously, it won't be pink

Interesting for sure. I want to incorporate my outdoor G scale layout to use in conjunction with my 1/16 tanks. Tanks and rails are a fun combination.

Beer is for lightweights!

Yes. I cut up a credit card that I paid off. Gotta do that kind of thing as you get older

back to the work after a drinking weekend
I liked the idea of putting props on the flatcar apart from the vehicle, so I went through my photo archive and listed all the props that appeared (sorry, spanish version

).

So I settled on some barrels, wooden boxess, and two railroad workers, all 3D printed with filament. Wodden boxes are already painted with a base colour and distressed with pigments of various colours (black, brown, dark yellow and red ochre). I'm still waiting for the decals to arrive

Those wood crates/boxes are superb! The printed figures are really crisp. I have really enjoyed following this project and it just keeps getting better!

Oh, your railroad figures look like they will be fun to paint! I would enjoy doing the beards, greasy, dirty coveralls, and that humongous adjustable wrench.
