I attempted to build two of these Hooben T-55's, I was able to make them function, sort of, but I was continually stymied by the turret and main gun functions.
The kit has a good solid basis for an actual working tank, but it's clear the designers quit long before this kit was complete and finally just threw up their hands and said Ship them! The suspension is all cheap castings that break, the component layout is a complete mess, and the turret hardware is a horror. If Tamiya made this kit it would cost $1,000 but at least everything would work properly.
