Good point with the 21700.
I started with the 18650 because they are way more common, but no doubt those 21700 are great and probably a better alternative.
As a side note, as I already wrote some times here and there, dont get chinese cheap batteries. As today the maximum mah capacity in a 18650 is about 3,500mah. So if you see something that rates more than that, no doubt it is an ultra fake product that luckily will give you 1.000. Also when getting batteries dont forget to check the aliexpress reviews. No doubt some are payed fake reviews, but plenty are not. A lot of people takes pics of their batteries in their chargers where you can see the maximum mah capacity and if the seller is a fake seller or not. Just check that, and the discharge capacity (15A is fine) and you are good to go.
Anyway, there are second brands which are as good as the first brands like LG, Samsung and so on, for 1/5 the price. I have been using "liitokala" batteries and I am very happy with them. You can buy 6 of them for 8 euros, free shipping. Unbeateable price.
