General Jumbo: Well, I had some tamiya conectors melting in my tanks. I know I am the rare case and not the norm, but my tanks have tons of features and those connectors seem to not to work with me. With a plain heng long or tamiya will be probably enough.

Black knight: If you want more speed you might need better motors or other gearboxes, but 3S lipos should be enough for having a rocket tank even if it weights 7Kgs

SOAG: I had to seach in the dictionary for that "Skin flint" LOL I added it to my dictionary.

I think the next step ould probably be brushless motors and ESCs since the ones in the DKLM gearbox are pretty hefty already (540 I think).

However, I'd like to be able to find a way to moderate the acceleration a bit more before I even considered more speed :D

With a decent programable radio you can set the acceleration curve to suit your needs

I currently use a FlySky FRSi6 in s-bus mode with a Clark TK60 board - What would you reccomend please?
