Right, cut away some more in the chassis for fitting all the bits in, rough layout all fits fine and works... But track control is left/right for forward/reverse movement, any wiring gurus handy?

Sorted, was polarity on one motor, swapped leads over and bingo, all running correctly!

Back on shift, I'll post some more pics up Wednesday, but... Internals all cut away now, wiring in the Asiatam/Taigen recoil unit, need to fit the drivers armoured visor, magnet replacements for body screws aboard, need to fix down the battery, speaker box & rx, also going to mod the stock HL smoker with a 25mm pc fan when it arrives, so loads to crack on with....

One last query.. Can't get the mgs to light up, and the headlight is on permanent even when the power switch is off? They're wired as per this diagram
only difference is the Hull mg is wired to the board, the coax mg is wired into a plug to go in the socket above tags 1-3. Unless the turret connector plug is different on the 2.4? I'd like to get both the recoil unit and the mgs firing on the gun/cannon buttons on the tx rather than the 88 firing on the left joystick up.. Any ideas?

Is this the newer generation (i.e. dual-sound) Heng Long board? If it is, you'll need to wire it up like
this. If it's not, you'll need to wire it up like this:

Cheers Ram, it's the newer board as per your first link. I'll wire it up that way & see how it plays....
