Hello again. Have had some time to dial in the Clark tk60 that Stian prepared for me. Sounds simply amazing. Image

Built a scratch gunshield for Alwyn's fantastic 88. I used several layers of plasticard to create a rough design for a very tall gunshield for the little Panzer.

It's not finished. Nothing is sanded it filled....Has several coats of red oxide primer. My thought was to make this more a paper panzer late war machine I took some liberties with the gun shield design and gun deck. Plans are to paint the gun and shield with an octopus scheme with some red oxide features like the RETUN rollers and sprockets.

Looks very smart!

I would have perhaps taken the edges of the gun shield back a bit to protect the crew a bit more but that’s just me. :)

That is a mean looking SPG. You should call it Eidechse/Lizzard.
With the tongue smelling the enemy.

Thank you very much for checking in  I am considering some sort of side protective armour shields so that's yet to develop. First time I've mounted the gun on the chassis so it's somewhat bigger than I expected. Once the gun is painted and detailed it should be a very cool piece.

Will be putting some work into this particular piece in the coming weeks. Just dialed in the fantastic gun that Mr Alwyn Turner designed for me, added some primer to the 88 and have ordered some bits to get this one going toward completion.Imagefitted the led light, traverse motor setup, I've so many incomplete builds right now, but will start getting this one some attention as I await parts for the Hetzers and the panther.
