A Panzer IV is the one tank that I would get in 1/6th.

Me too....or maybe the Comet.
This is a tableau I linked to the other day, and it's based on an Armortek Pz IV. The Figures are simply superb, as is the composition for the photo (by a real pro..Vince). I imagine, and Gary could confirm this, that the move up to 1:6 gives more scope to add credible detail. That's not to say that modeller's working in 1:35 aren't producing works of jaw dropping artistry. They are.
But here, figures in that scale can wear jackboots that appear to be made of real leather 8O . I had a pair, by the way, in my motorcycling days. They kept the pedal extremities warm in Winter, and yet bearably cool in Summer.

That’s a nice looking diorama with the figures. 43rd I picked up a Field of Armor 1/6 panzer iv, already built , somewhat wrong Image
But not a bad looking kit. I attached a photo , lots to be done and not much time but I think it will look great in the end. The original photo you posted has been a source of inspiration for some time.
Cheers Mark

Good morning,
I'm slaving away ( almost everyday ) on the 1/6 Stuart. Even over a decade later, I am surprised by how much is still available for this tank in terms of metal and resin after market products. Yes, RCTW is the place for us to congregate! I shamelessly promote the Forum whenever someone expresses an interest in my tanks. A dream tank in all metal 1/6 ( or 1/4 ) scale would be a Tiger 1 or an early Sherman M4. Storage and display space is limited at the time so the Stuart will be 'it' for some time to come.
regards,
Painless

P.S. The Bourbon glass is full for me and the Hobby right now.
