Heng long li ion battery with casing removed

Keep up the good work! A surprisingly, accurate in appearance Sherman can be made from the plastic MATO version. This tank has been out a long time and their are lots of tips and tricks hidden away in Forum posts. Yours is looking great! Following along!

With all the impressive improvised struts and shelves, will there still be sufficient clearance for the gun to depress and elevate? I imagine an airsoft version would pose a problem, but maybe yours is IR...

Good morning all, thanks for your comments chaps, painless, your Sherman looks super, well weathered I
like the shape of the cast hull, 43rd,there is a surprising amount of room inside, the framework was added so I could
fit the large speaker and I was going to mount the battery over the tk24 in the available space, however after seeing
on the forum you can remove the case on the hl li ion battery I have slotted it between the motors as it fits nicely
in there.
I cut the airsoft unit up and fitted a servo recoil so that doesn't hang down into the lower hull, in fact the plate on
the bulkhead where the switches will go has a good inch clearance to the hatch doors

Thanks 43rd, its taking shape now, it will never achieve the quality of some of some of the builds on here though
but I am happy with the way its coming along, I have a few items I have ordered from china for it so waiting for
the orient express to bring them.
not entirely happy with the elevation/recoil I lashed together so going to have a rethink on that.
