Shaun.
Another dream dashed, you old spoilsport :'( :haha: I should say that my 'lawn' used to be a field until 2000, and grazed by sheep. Thus, apart from the of odd trees and shrubs I've planted, my 'country pile' (1/4 acre) still looks like the side of a Highland brae in crofting community, rather than centre court at Wimbledon. Still, I do pamper it somewhat. ... ah, but that 1/6 tank-mower. Hmmm., now I understand what drove McToad of McToadhall to distraction! :lolno:

EASY....as far as RC goes...all of them....but my overall favorite tank would have to be the Chaffee ...not sure it counts...but I already have a running chassis :haha:

That said, I'd quite like a 1/6 scale Firefly with a towbar for my lawnmower. I saw a petrol driven autonomous lawnmower the other day, and that got me thinking..... I could mow the lawn remotely from my lazyboy...using the tank pushing or pulling a mower. Now, that I would love!! :haha:
Or you could put blade under your tank to make it a RC mower.

 Hmm., that might not be as crazy as it sounds  ! After all, snowplough blades and more have been fitted to the real thing..Maybe I could have a version of Hobart's fail tank, adapted to thrash (even thresh) grass instead of landmines! :haha:

:haha: :haha: Well, my dog's legs are pretty short as it is, so I wouldn't want any improvised mowing device making them even shorter.. :O :) !

Why mess around? Just put a dozer blade on a sherman and dig the stuff up - it'll make for a better battle ground!

I've always loved the T-72, it's just so long and low and mean-looking. It's a shame there aren't any 1:16 models on offer (yet?), but it seems like Cold War-era stuff gets sadly neglected in the bigger scales. Most of the focus seems to be either WW2 or modern, with not a lot in between.

DAN Hi, You are making a comment that the grumpier ones on this Forum have been making for some years with an emphasis on where the F*** is the CENTURIAN and the CHIEFTAIN and has anyone ever seen a CONQUEROR in 1/16 RC ?
Sorry, but it is a subject that frustrates me because there is an obvious demand.
Oh and welcome to the Forum.
Shaun.
