Tow cables made now as mine were busted out of the box, kept the original end just drilled a hole in each and super glued some metal cable in

Painting has commenced! Just painted the hull grills and a few accessories Tamiya matt black before I mask it off for the surface texture application, also painted up the fuel drums in my chosen base colour of Tamiya olive drab to get I feel for it, should lighten up once dry.

THAT IS SO SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!! I love the gun recoil action!!!!!
Thanks for the lead on the gaiter. I shall purchase it as soon as I get my funding sorted out.
BTW, wot servo did you use for the turret traverse? It looks like once you push the stick, the turret just moves without delay. Mine (on the M1) it starts slow but then picks up speed. I use the IBU2 Pro as well. Is there something in the setup file that controls this or is it dependent on the servo?

Hey dude in the ibu.ini file there is a setting marked srvbrandupdate, this controls the servo speed, a lower figure here increases the speed of the servo try that mate, the servo I used is a cheap 360 one off ebay spring RC SM-S4306R it's was about a fiver. Hope that helps dude

I think I am using the same servo as you are. I've clocked my M1's turret rotation and it's right on the mark with the real thing even with the initial speed building up part until it reaches full speed rotation.
EDIT:
I am wrong. I'm using a SM-S4315R Metal Gear 360 servo.

Mine is just at 9 seconds for a full 360 which is about the same as the real thing, possibly the delay in full speed is the transmitter dude, tank bear is the best one to ask to be fair, or it could just be the initial static friction in the turret ring, you could try lubricating it, I know it can get alot worse if you have sprayed that area.
