I remember buying the 1/35 Tamiya Chieftain some years ago, it almost put me off the hobby because while it came with a tube of cement to fix the track pads on there was not enough of it and the glue really was not up to the job and at the time there were no decent glues available,
I marvel at the advances not just in adhesives but every aspect of our mutual interest, and
I know I am asking for trouble but we really do with a couple of exceptions get very good value for money,
I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and yours a Happy New year and thanks for being on this Forum,
No one is indispensable but you come close.

Greetings Wo1c

...It's interesting that you mention "value"...as I was just having a conversation with another member about that subject...while many of these 1/35th scale builds will serve a purpose in one way or another...I cannot be truly certain about the value

...I have gotten some pretty good deals on these kits...way off the normal ..some almost 70% off other listings...and even with that....if you scale up the dollar amount just like how I am going to scale up some of these to 1/16th scale...I found that what's being paid for 1/35th scale models is almost 5 times more in some cases than a Tamiya RC ..I have seen kits in 1/35th scale that are upwards of the 80 dollar range ....now upscale the price tag by multiplying that by 16 lol..Astonishingly Funny...while Ironic at the same time
Just glad it is what it is
With that said... I pine for the older days of my youth...when carrying a 20.00 note was good enough to get paint glue and one Tamiya kit..or two American Brand kits ...three if you left out the paint and glue ...But I guess that's the price we must pay for this short existence we endure
ONWARD AND UPWARD ...eh Wo1c....come enjoy and embrace your lady fair
forget all the bitters..cling to the bells that ring clear
Have listen to this tune
To you and yours Shaun
A HAPPY PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR
