Greetings Brant....took a look at all your photos....everything looks as it should...do you have jumper wires
This is one I made from spare wires tamiya small plug and some alligator clips
Image
for tanks I have an adapter that changes the small plug to a big...but you can just skip that and use a big if you have one laying around
Anyway..what my usual next step would be to test the elevation unit...using the jumper wire...by connecting the pos to the pos...and touching the neg with the neg lead
if the motor works and the unit rotates it's good ...I would then trace the positive lead backwards...connecting the neg to neg on the motor of the elevation unit...and use the pos to touch open points as you move out of the turret all the way to the 11 pin plug on the upper hull

I do also see or saw to points of interest...the 11 pin was missing one screw...which means the previous owner might have changed it out from the 8 pin...and the resistor on the gun fire on /off burned the plastic insulator on the wire next to it...this is the reason for the circuit trace back.... you might also want to make sure those three wires on the on off switch are separated ....do the same with all the wires soldered to the 11 pin connector

Now if the motor still rotates when you do the trace... the problem could be with the RX itself ...you can do one of two things to test that...I see you have a Panzer on the Shelf.... take the top off of that...and connect the upper to the RX via the multi wire plug in and see if it works.....if it does...put your M26 turret back together (so nothing flies out) and retest it ..or you could hook it up to the Panzer's RX or board if it's the low end model ...and see if it works on that

Let me know how that goes...and we'll see where it goes from there ;)

Good Luck...and Have a Happy New Years Eve

Not too hard to make Brant....it's probably one of the best troubleshooting tools you can have though....any unit in your tank will be able to be tested individually ;)

It's been a week or 2 so I thought I would post a update.
The crystals I ordered have arrived(5 dollars for them still a win) I went to put them in and nothing happened so I swapped them out and it started working!....... Too well, it worked so well the cannon started elevating by itself, so now I got a problem with the cannon moving by itself but I think I just need toy with the board a little
