Re: Starting my tank up
you cant with an abc transmitter its fitted internally with three crystals that match upto the older boards.. the transmitter you need has a hole where the abc slider is and at the bottom are two smaller holes that the crystal pins push into

Re: Starting my tank up
Hi Applelover786 , Welcome to the forum btw , the Transmitter you have shown is the correct type - the small black oblong plug in the lower right corner is where the crystal will go , this cover will just pull out ( Non RX18 radio sets have a 3 position switch ) Try changing the tracks over , and see if it still happens on the same side , easiest way is to remove the central caps on the drive sprockets and undo the allen bolt holding them on . The whole sprocket can come off , this will give enough slack in the tracks to remove them . Also the rear idler wheels often have too much slack in them , this makes the tracks jump off , a common problem . There are aftermarket adjusters available that will cure this . Blimp .
to the bouncy room ! Yay !

Re: Starting my tank up
I believe the volume pot has a very low Ohm resistance. It may be tough to simply find a replacement for it other than simply getting one of the originals. Here is the whole package deal. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Heng-Long-1-16- ... 3cdd66bd79
