I am waiting to begin working on my first RC tank
It had a small issue with the running gears when it arrived so it went back to the seller and should be returning in running order soon.. Then the fun begins I am assembling parts now
good luck with that mark , its great when you have the parts and cant wait to get started

glad you like the updates.
This document could turn out to be a really interesting photo journal from the eye of either another crew member or the commander
like ....JOURNAL ENTRY 1st lieutenant Zimmer
...Capt. Grimmer ..orders Carl to repaint markings on Hlida...tells him it's to prevent the possibility of friendly fire...I laugh at the order..as Carl is not the best person for the job...has a short fuse..and a bit of a loose cannon...
FOLLOWING ENTRY ... day after order was given to Carl... Day of leisure.. crew has a little time to relax... Carl unfortunately has to paint new insignia and ID markings on Hilda ...after two hours of well deserved R&R....the sound of gunfire breaks the silence...everyone jumps to attention taking up weapons and defensive positions...apparently false alarm.... Carl had finished painting Hilda...signing his work with his version of Friendly fire
Carl on bread and water rations for the next month
JOURNAL ENTRY Capt Grimmer....A month has gone by... patrols have been quiet...no enemy movements detected... orders have come in to make sure tanks are marked clearly..in order to avoid friendly incursions
THREE DAYS LATER... Markings redone... have been under constant assault for the past day and a half... ordering crew to remove markings
Carl Griffin is upset... his stash of chateau blanc stored in turret locker fell victim to an array of gunfire
Carl now wants permanent assignment to ride on the outside of tank with the 42...request denied... though Carl now stands guard on engine every time we stop...recommending for psych exam
Hang on there, Private Griffin should be commended for his devotion to duty, I remember that Herman Bix's Tiger 1 had it's jack stolen by partizans, the man should be promoted to Gefreiter with immediate effect shaun

Yes it was indeed.......I would go so far as to indite Herr Griffin on charges of consuming the carefully hoaded 'Blanc' and in partially blind cellebration did in fact spray the '42 instead of the champers
Nice work Mr Tiger............
