Good Morning again,
Apologies, my Friend. I'm planning on building a Captured version of the KV-2 and did not think there. If nothing else can be found, I know that the German cupola can be removed and I read here on the forum somewhere recently that the old style periscopes would be available for sale. The rest of the accessories that come with the turret could go in your parts box. ;o)
regards,
Painless

No problem at all Painless.... I'm just getting old.. so if I do get around to doing a KV2... the fewer the mods the better :haha: ...Add into the equation ..the desire to play with it ASAP .basically saying it would have to be not only fast... but an easy one ;) ........... :haha:

I would go as far to say though... If the german version was featured in GIRLS UND PANZER.... I'd jump on that turret like white on rice :D

Thanks again

That's nice.. where did you order your turret from? if you don't mind me asking.... I saw a guy on ebay selling the KV2 turrets... but it was the captured German version

I bought it off a friend, as a german capture.

well, I think the origin is a HL kv1, then a kv2 german style turret was added. Then I got it , and plans are to get a full lower hull 4/1 tu's and belts by x-mas time.

Hope to have it up and running soon after.

here is how it is now

I really like the look of the kv after working on it for a while.

What happened to the old hull... not in good enough shape to salvage?
