Ok,a bit more work done on the Jagdpanther. The convoy light has been mounted but not wired up yet as I want the rear panel to still be detachable ,so I need to find a small connector for the wires.

I wasn't to keen on the joints inside the exhaust showing so they were filled and sanded down.

While out in a local pet store I came across some pipe in the fish tank section which is the same diameter as the smoke generator attachments,so ..................................The other hole on the smoke generator will be used to fill it with oil through another pipe that will be located in the rear stowage box if I can fit it in.The idea is to use a syringe with a pipe on it that will reach down the fill pipe into the generator.

I also upgraded the suspension to stronger springs which went well until the Heng Long glue monkey struck !!!!

Not pretty to look at but I will be upgrading the road wheels in the future so till then It will have to do.
I'm hoping to get some more work done soon,MG housing and the machine gun replaced some handles and a bit more wiring.

Good Morning,
This is a crackin' Good Build, Sir! I love the idea of using one of the pipes on the smoker strictly for filling. Looking forward to more of this one, Evad.

Thanks Painless Wolf, the filling pipe is an idea I hope to fit on all my tanks. The syringe will be fitted with a collar so the pipe will only go into the fill hole the right depth and not enter the smoker too far and damage the heater element. While it's not been run for long ( a couple of minutes ) the single pipe does give a decent amount of smoke from the proportional smoker.

Good Afternoon,
I'm looking at your excellent rear deck and wondering what changes between Panther and Jagdpanther that there were besides the added stops for the rear hatch to rest on and the smaller fan housing lifting hooks that I see on every Jagdpanther but hardly any Panther Gs. All else seems the same including the shutters on the right side grills and the tow cable mounts. Any advice per the fan housing hooks?

Afternoon Painless, well it's afternoon here anyway.
Not being a rivet counter and having limited knowledge on Panthers ( what I can find on the web ) the only advice I can give regarding the fan housing hooks would be that I would fit them. The reason being that in reality the housing would have to be removed for maintenance at some point so lifting hooks would be fitted. Hope that's of some help.

Good Morning,
Thanks, Evad, I will. Those are simple enough to make or find. I saw last night while going over the Tamiya Jagdpanther and Panther manuals that they are there molded into the rear deck as simple oblongs.
