I am not much of a figure painter, my modelling skills are very basic in that area. The arms of both were repositioned for a better fit to the space allocated inside the turret hatches. The figure with the tea cup had its tea cup removed and as i found the torso a bit short, a longer (hidden) torso was added for a stronger fit inside the turret.

Louis, that Sir is a masterpiece! I really liked it "in the white" as you could see all the details and brass bits, but this is even better (how it could get any better is beyond me, but it is)! I've always liked the Churchill as it reminds me of the WW1 Brit tanks, which I have a soft spot for. I think it may be my favorite creation of yours so far!

Simply awe inspiring!

Yes, like the others, I want to express my congratulations on a most impressive model.

On a personal note, I also want to thank you for shining such a fantastic spotlight on the Dieppe Raid and the contribution of the Calgary Tanks. The Dieppe Raid often only garners a footnote in the history books, but it was obviously a life-altering event for the men who were there (as well as their families).

I had the good fortune of traveling to Puys and Dieppe for the 75th anniversary in 2017 and I hope everyone here gets the chance to see those beaches someday in the future.

Thank you Eric. Personally, i think the Mk III turret looks better than the earlier and later variants of the Churchill, and exposing the tracks like a WW1 Mk4 was one of my key requirement for this build. It really looks different than any other tanks i have built.

Thank you TravisS. This build was a good opportunity to research the battle. It was important for me to make the best job i could on this one, not just on building their tank, but to explain what happened that day and to honour all the men involved.
