The tank as a whole is stunning! The stowage with the cooler, the water bottles and packs add an _In Use_ touch. ;o) Good one with the crumpled water bottle! Nice touch, my friend.

First something saying that this is your version of Heng Longs m1A2 Abrams as it might have been used during whatever military operation you are portraying it to be in,. Then a description of the real tanks features, build date, improvements over the M1A1 version, approximate end of active service date in the US Army.
IF you use any abbreviations like APU also spell out like ; the M1A2 was equipped with an APU/Auxiliary Power Unit like the m1A1. Do this so people don't get confused about what your talking about like you did when you started to try to follow Atcs descriptions.
Keep to a maximum of about 5 pictures of your whole tank from different angles. If you want to do a more detailed photo essay of your tank post it in show off.
If you need details about real M1A2 ask me and I'll send you a PM with them so you can add them to the description for your post in the Modern tank thread.
I did mine ahead of time using the word program and converting it to a picture that I can post. If you don't have Microsoft office just write it down ahead of time until you have what you want to post ready.
I'll post it and then delete it from your build thread after a day so everyone getting in on this can see it.

The Abrams ran well at the weekend on the battlefield we had set up for Tankmod at Bovington. Here is the battlefield.

Very pleased with how it performed.

Back to the build, a few more picks of the stowage, which now includes one of the ice boxes available on eBay. They are described as being either 1/12 or 1/10, but both seem to be the same size. Also this one did not come with "ice" so it appears that some do and some do not. I have another on order that does have the ice so all good there I hope. You will also see that the battle board is now on the back too. After some very helpful info from atcttge I wanted to simulate a bare plywood board for this, so I found a supply of .8mm thick ply for use in crafts. A piece was then cut to size, and one side given 2 coats of Tamiya clear. After this had thoroughly dried water slide decals were applied from the same set that I used for the other decals in this build. Both sides where then given a quick coat of clear matt from a rattle can. The edges were roughed up a bit, and holes drilled to attach the board to the back of the bustle rack. The board was then dusted with sand and mud coloured pigments, and attached to the bustle basket using 5A fuse wire passed through the pre-drilled holes and the ends twisted together at the back. Any way enough chat on to the pics.

Your tank is so well done, I wouldn't want to make it run around and hit stuff because it might damage the paint finish etc.

I damaged mine recently when I was testing out the electronics hehehehe

Subtle is nice. ISTR seeing a photo of a filler cap with some stains around it, but I'm not sure where. Probably in a book.

Excellent work. The stowage brings the tank really alive. I love it.

I doubt jet fuel would leave any stain if some dripped. Would probably leave clean spots before it evaporated with no residue left to collect dirt.
