Hi all,
Sorry for slow progress (again), very busy at work, and that always means I'm busy when I get home doing quotes or invoicing etc
Havn't been totally idle on the tank front, more stowage added. Made some more kit bags.
Canvas roll from Tankzone
Bought some US field packs from Frontline Models and some webbing from AFV Models to make straps. Dyed the webbing to suite. Added tow cable and clamp. Fixed speaker in place.
Still more to add, trying to find some other specific items. Wondering if I should add the "piece of pipe, so the crouts think maybe it a 90mm", as it only seems to be on the tank for that scene, easy enough to do though, also, the rope I've added to the left side isn't always there either, what do you guys think.

Go on Alan add that piece of pipe and you can always do what they did, and remove it as you so wish......

I've added the antenna to the front hull of the tank as in the movie.
I cut down a spare brass antenna base and drilled a fine hole through the centre. Then glued in a length of small piano wire so that I could achieve the spring back effect without kinking when the barrel turns past it.

Another couple of bits.
Used some spare periscopes from a Pershing kit and fitted to the driver and gunners hatches.
Another bit from the movie

HI all,
Waiting for more stowage items to arrive from the US at the moment, so decided to have a fiddle with the coach lantern on the fender.
Tis is the little 12V lamp from the dolls house light, I soldered a couple of wires to it and fixed inside the coach lantern. I had already anticipated doing this when I made the lantern, so I'd made a groove in its base to accomodate the cable. Drilled a small hole in the hull to route the cable through.
Fixed a switch below the drivers hatch and connected to the battery. OFF ON

Added some enhancement to the "peice of pipe" so that it looks fixed instead of just balanced on the top of the hull.
