The positive about the Ammo Washable paint is that it's fun to use when you grasp the curve. It doesn't react the same as traditional acrylic chipping with Tamiya XF paints, which is the defacto original method medium.

The negative/positive is that it's infinitely adjustable and promotes constant tinkering. I'm obviously joking this isn't negative. It's 2 days later and I'm still adjusting, just a little damp brush or sponge and it reactivates. But just when I think I'm done it pulls me back in!!!

For sure though I will need to clear coat it before any next steps or weathering. I'm going to use cheap Rustoleum Enamel Matte clear coat for this one since I have a can already open and that the white wash is water based acrylic and the clear is enamel so there shouldn't be any reaction. I plan to use Testor's Dullcote for the Tigger.

Belching black smoke is a super cool idea. I wonder if it's possible?

I'm having a very positive experience with this stuff. I could see it being airbrushed but honestly it really works well with brushing it on, plus it develops cool random patterns and texture.

It's a nice diversion. My plan is to refit/repaint the T34. There are a few glaring issues that it came with. One of which is they attached the commanders copula backwards and the other is the metal antenna stump on the turret top-



So when 822 is done and the spring sprungs, it'll be time to re-green the T34.

The Commanders hatch can be fixed, Buuuuut, you have to carefully separate the plastic lock ring that holds the hatch covers in place. sadly you just can't pull off the whole hatch and re attach it. It takes a stady hand, but can be done.
