Wheel adaptors done.
I will be picking them up on Saturday, so I hope some progress to be made over the few days I have off over xmas.

Got confirmation that Ozarmour WILL be stocking the Taigen V2 system around mid January.
This will be more relevant to Australian based members of course.
He is looking to market them with a HK-T6A transmitter set, and with the MFU, sound board and volume control .

Pricing not firm yet but should be around $80-90 for the V2 system and $40-50 for the transmitter/receiver combo.
So, all up, $130AUD plus post............give or take.

He will have Tiger sound boards first, followed soon after by the Pz IV/III ones.

I am going to wait for one of these....................simple, easy to maintain, supports Taigen recoil and adequate for what I need.

Please feel free to contact Mark at Ozarmour directly for further info......................

Not a lot of progress on the wheels, but I have got them ready to go together.
Once I get my steel gear box's, I can cut spacers to sit between the inner wheel and the suspension arm.
The 1mm spacer ring on each adaptor allows free travel over the guide horns and gets the inner & outer wheels into just the right position.
All I need to do is verify the datum line from drive to idlers and cut the spacers accordingly.

The assembled wheel unit is not made all the way home as yet.
The inner will be secured to each arm, them the outer placed over the spigot, trapping the axle.
Just enough free play in the axle recess to allow the wheel to float a wee bit to allow for track deflection etc.

If there were late steel wheel sets available here i would not have done this, but with the weight and exchange rate, getting them in from up north would be just stupid.

Cheers Mr Rainford, could have done it several ways but as I had access to getting them done on a machine- why not !
These Matorro wheels are supposed to go into the plastic original ones not be used as a pair, so they have no way of joining to each other.
If not getting used like they are, the things would have remained unused and wasted.
The standard axles will screw into the arms and protrude into the hull acting as stoppers.

Thanks Mr Philipat

After getting the dual wheels assembled, its now obvious the standard axles are simply too long.
I will revert to the Taigen axles, but will not be able to get them set bang on until my gear boxes arrive.
Xmas being what it is, Satan(thats Santas evil Sister) will not allow imprudent disbursement of fiscal resources.

It also means that I must swap out each second suspension arm as the screw axles are not going to be screwable now !!
I hate going backwards, but, hey, a tactical withdrawal is better than a gallant defeat eh ;)

Good morning, Herman,
You've already got it sorted, now to apply the ( laborious) fix. Following along. Tigers are not meant to be easy builds ( even if it seems that they are a common choice sometimes )
regards and Happy New Year!
