The original antenna container was together with the side skirts removed. Followed from a new construction as at my Kingtiger; some pictures…

Here closed…

…and here in open state.

Because the HL stowage box „Rommelkiste“ is not scale I’ve decided me to change she against a Tamiya one. One screw point in the old stowage box was lost and was newly built. Again a few pictures…

Image

Old box was removed and the hole closed, thereafter were the new box glued at the turret.

The gun shield was not dismounted, but here a try to close some gaps.

The state until here…

It goes on with the new track cable…

The holders for my new track cable are already present; the front holder and the cable tensioner are still lack. Both parts arise already from a few brass and copper rests. The tensioner…

…and the front holder at his genesis.

Image

Here is the position for the tensioner…

Image

…and here for the front holder.

Image

The sidewalls were drilled and both parts mounted.

Image

Image

Thereafter I’ve mounted my Tiger again complete…

Image

…and found some additional things to change.

Image

My commander can now something see through his periscopes with opened hatch.

Image

Then were the track cable mounted; it was built from a 0,6 mm thick wire rope.

Image

Here a closer view to the front holder…

Image

…and here the tensioner device.

Image

Now must again Zimmerit coat apply and a few weld lines are still lack too.

Hotte you continue to make some of the most realistic pieces for your model. Something like the antenna tube and the detailed cable mounts is something I've never considered modifying but your work is truly inspiring

This may help you on your paint job.

I would suggest adding some washes to pop out that detail especially with the zimm coat and pigments to get the camo to have less contrast. The build is amazing and I love your attention to detail!
