Mr Painless your Halloween light trickery is really effective. Looking fantastic. The decals look very nice too

I see the radio control in the photo. These work really nice with the new Clark boards. Glad to see its ready to rumble about!

I also wanted to point out the Metal Gear servos are my favorites. So reliable. The convoy light is a really nice touch. So impressive and realistic yet neat and tidywell done!

Thank you, my Friend. The decals turned out well with a minimum of silvering despite the textured finish of the paint job. I thank Microsol(tm) for those results *chuckles* I agree, lighting is a simple detail that adds tons to the realism of any tank or armored vehicle.

Beautiful upgrades, Mr. Wolf. I didnt see the Tamiya panel liners over here yet. But as from Andys builds, they look promising.

The lower hull is Taigen, the upper hull is made from Heng Long and Hobby Boss.

If you want to build this Tiger you need the above mentioned. The Heng Long upper is cut so that all you have left are the sides, engine deck area, and the very front. The drivers view block can be modded easily at this time. The Hobby Boss Tiger is cut so that all you use is the flat main deck area, it is used to fill the portion removed from the Heng Long upper. I then cut the Heng Long engine hatch cover so it can be removed, made hinges, made the latch that holds the engine hatch open (yes it really works just like the real Tiger)

The Hobby Boss Tiger turret is then used along with the Hobby Boss turret ring, a Heng Long turret rotation motor meshes perfectly.

Thanks for these additions. I can see the way you modded the upper in one of the inside views. What did you do with the remains. You had a hebt long center piece and a hp surrounding left over.

Stencils or Decals... you used the MicroXX Stuff and those decals werent laying down 100%? Difficult deision then, on Zimmerit the Stencils will be difficult as well.

Thanks, Gentlemen! Your kindnesses are noted and appreciated. Jack, welcome back! I was hoping that you would comment on the completion of this build. You did excellent structural work, so much so that even the US Postal service only managed to dislodge a couple of glue joins during shipping. That is saying something right there. Soeren, I would say the results are 98 or 99% percent on the decals. I used sets from
Peddinghaus on the tank and commander and am very pleased with the results. Microsol and Microset should be in every builders toolbox.
