That is a great shade of dunkelgelb. I only acheived that once and then sort of ruined it with a wash. It really makes the ragged edges of the concrete look so realistic
Thanks Mr Mechaniker, I will try not to wash this too much, which is not normally how I approach things !
A filter might be the way I reckon

Fabulous! Great work as usual Mr. Bix.
Thanks for the vote of confidence Mr Ecam, has been a different story this one from where it began..................

That shade is exactly how I would have imagined this one looking in colour. Of course dirtied up

Well for better or worse I went with a camo over the base.
A haphazard green , field applied, very thin/desaturated to give the base a chance to peek through.
Its soaked into the base very well and has only slightly caused the green hue in the yellow base to become visible despite all my efforts to prevent it!!
Still happy with the way its heading.
Weathering after sealing will tie it all together once the crosses & tools are on.
Lots to do yet before it joins the other Tank Destroyers in the fleet

Tools R Us
Made some clasp handles and secured them onto each tool clamp for effect.
No need to get fancy & have the tools removable, not as if they need to be used !!

Enjoying the details and overall realism of this TD. Everything has come together extremely well. Following along,

Looking great. The rear deck tools on the JPIV are fun. Really looking forward to the finished model especially how you do the exposed smashed edges of the concrete

Digging the green camo
Cheers Mr Lav, it’s a pretty good outcome for a freestyle paint job.
Hooray for 5 minute camo schemes eh !
