Hi everyone,

This is it, the Nashorn is finished, fini, finito, fertig, terminado !!!

Today, I made the ammo rounds, painted the radio the best I could, installed the periscopes, and put on a couple of accessories.

To complete this build, here is a last picture show of my completed Nashorn. I will post them in two messages, interior and exterior pictures.

Thank you for your interest in my first public build. I liked the experience.

The Juckenburg kit is a very difficult kit, probably not for everyone. Yes, I had to redo and scratch build a lot of parts, but in the end, I am happy with the results.

Here are the ammo and the interior pictures.

Regards, Louis

Louis,
You should add this set of photos to a Thread in the Show Off Forum then park this Beauty in the TOTM for May Submission Thread.

Painless

Hi, I gave a quick wash to the Schmeissers and then had some fun taking pictures of them. Somehow, these metal parts are difficult to work with.

Creating a 1/16 scale vehicle with an open fighting compartment brings a lot of challenges, but it creates a brand new dimension to model building.

Louis your work is exceptionally done. Can you share with us on the forum ( when you have time of course) your process to create the dry brushing and the products you use...

They are brilliant and very convincing

Thank you everyone, it was a pleasure.

FYI, I have started planning and accumulating material for my autumn big project, a 1/6 scale Marder II, which should be interesting and I will present the build here. In the meantime, I will likely relax by slowly overhauling a Panther or a Stug, nothing complicated.
