i guess that the wounder of evilbay ...

makes me think that the seller relisted at £ 120 BUY IT NOW ..... did he have some one pushing the price up  on the sellers behalf ???..and his shill bidding went wrong so relisted ... nutter ?????/ ..

anyway .. my locoal modelshop ( ripp off centeral ) .. said can get jagpanther from supplyer ..at £69.99 as it was a special order that price includes the shipping of an extra £ 10  so i take it the jagpanther is a list of £59.99 ?????
his supplyer is the hobby company.. he also added that torro .. has listed a panzer 4 stug ! and a panzer 4 l70lang  at 79.99 ..and the king tiger is now also 79.99 ..and that includes the 10 postage to the retailer !!!!! so maybe the prices on ebay have shot them selfs in the foot by ripping too many folk off and pushing price ever higher .... have a chat with your local shops ... it well worth a try ....

Just checked out the listing on ebay. The seller is Forgebear and he is not a 'rip off' artist. He checks all his tanks before sending them and will do upgrades for you aswell. The listing says the jagdpanther has metal gear boxes so that will add a few quid to the price and the postage. As these items have to be imported perhaps the price reflects the plummeting value of the pound against every other currency or maybe HL are getting greedy.

Cheers
John

i got to agree with john, forgebear isnt a rip off, i've had several things from him and always had good service from him and his postage is second to none, its like everything new, its dear for awhile then the price drops, i think in the current economic climate the price will drop quicker than it would normally

Yes, its Dave and Julie at Forgebear selling them. He put one up as an auction and one as a Buy It Now £120. Greeny and I saw them, and couldn't believe that people were bidding £147 when there was one there at £120?? Nowt as queer as folk is there?  ;D

Dave is a great guy, sells on Ebay all the time and often has private bargains if you are looking for a spare part that you can't find anywhere else. Fast postage too, I would recommend him to anyone.

It's hardly his fault if people want to bid in an out of control auction is it?  ???

He seems to be the only one with any for sale! (I've had a Google search tonight, without any other "hits") I too would be interested in a link to the supplier that mcevoyi mentioned.

The seller Dave i know well because he is a competitor on ebay we all help each other out from time to time. The reason Dave has got them in first is he buys direct from China, I dont like doing that because they cannot guarantee what spec of tank you receive dfor example his first Stugs from them were with plastic gears and came with no battle system. I wait till they reach Europe as then i have more control of what spec I require.
Mine will be in February. But correct some people have more money than sense. I remember once i had free AA road maps from a well known national petrol station and sold them on ebay one got £10. Daft really as they were advertised on national TV.

Lmao about the maps. Why didn't I think of that !  ;D

IMHO the Stug is a better buy than the Jag, it comes with a higher spec. I still wonder why HL don't sell their stuff as kits and save the assembly costs. Most people pull them apart to paint and upgrade them anyway?

Military Might have always given me good service too, I like supporting the small businesses as they always seem to offer a better personal service. If anyone has tried to get hold of that guy at Tankzone they will know exactly what I am talking about!  ;D
