Good luck on the Combat Field, MC. :o) All of my 1:16 scale tanks are airsoft with the exception of the T34\85 led. I enjoy pot shotting the fence and the odd soda can target in my back yard. Of course you are correct on extra weight = wear and tear. This is my first King Tiger and I wanted to try out the metal accessories available. I'm having fun with it. I'm sure that you are also with your light, fast Tank Killers at the Meets. And fun is what it's all about, right? :o)

as for battles my son will be using an un painted tank possibly a panzerkampfwagon maybe my pershing shooting standard bbs on the front lawn i will however will be using the paintball version of these bbs just for the satisfaction of scoring a direct hit and seeing the mark of paint splat on his tank, however my son has commented on my slower bigger tank and his faster reflexes of course he may be right but by simply grounding him for winning i find my technique effective and then lying about his victory even better ;)
