I'd have a look at Hiroboy.com for airbrushes. I got mine from there (I already had a compressor). Get a dual action, you'll get better results as you can control the flow better.

If you want to start with a cheap airbrush. Try the Neo..Now they are made for iwata, but NOT by IWATA..so some have some quaitly issue with them. Normaly a little modification they can work quite well.
You may be luckly though and get a good one right out of the box.
But normaly all cheap airbrushes will at least need a needle re-shape & polish to get any where near good performance from that brush.

Okey dokey , I'll put my tupence in to start it ;D
  • - Check out fleabay , in the beauty section ( nails , etc.), yes really - lots of cheapo airbrushes , compressers et al . 'Experts' will scoff , but you get the whole package for small bucks , and if you decide it's not your thing , you've not bankrupt yourself and can always sell it again and move up to better gear .
A half decent spray job is a wonderfull thing , the effect is almost impossible to acheive with your usual hairy stick . Remember ,it's 99per cent prep (and cleaning it afterwards) 1 per cent fun :/
