Re: XRAD'S JAGDTIGER
Thanks FV!
Testors liquid cement and polystyrene plastic holds really well with the Chinese plastic. Back plate has zimm which is filled and smoothed out (remnant of matorro KT)

Here is the building thread. You can use Google translate or just look at the pictures. Pictures tell more than thousand words you know.
Looking forward to contiunue the work on the Jagd! I would also like to see your's completed. Are you going for elevation and traverse? Or just elevation Matorro style?

Awesome! Quite a monster you got there.
Re: XRAD'S JAGDTIGER
This is the wecohe travel lock. I ordered it from wecohe and it says wecohe on the brass plate.
The support rods are made of very soft metal (not the usual sturdy yellow cast stuff) with low melting point. Also, none of the hardware fit correctly. For example, the butterfly nut and bolt fit, but bolt length too short to cross the frame. The kit is also missing two big pins for the bases. . It did not come with instructions so I had to find something on the net. The brass handle and lock parts were well made, the rest not so good.
Maybe this is an early version.....??
Some correction on the tracks: Apparently, 18 tooth drivers w/ single link tracks with size of 800/300 were used on the first 5 JT's, and maybe on some late ones as well. I think this will be one of the late models...or a repaired one...
