Installed the Pershing MF unit today. Had some trouble putting it into gear but figured it out now. Vid does not show the flash but it does work.

Received my British tank commanders today, Started with making the one i choose for the Firefly. First mad all parts fitting flush, and sealed the seams after glueing with Vallejo putty. He will be mounted with a magnet same as the US commander that was on there.

You are right on the money. I have some pictures in one of my books of a ''prototype'' Firefly, that uses the exact same running gear and lower hull as mine. It might not be a exact replica, but this is kinda my intrepetation of the prototype.
As for the various versions, if you start counting all conversions and models made of the Sherman it will make your head spin
